Dreaming with Tears In My Eyes. by Bono. Dreaming with Tears In My Eyes by Bono. Listen Now . Back to this album, upon many repeated listening sessions since I got my own disc, I find that only the first song by Bono doesn't resonate with me. It just doesn't fit mostly because of the atmosphere it projects and then there's the instrumentation which simply does not honor the work of Mr. Rodgers this is a 'tribute' after all. I grew up listening to Jimmie Rodgers and these all are great intrepretations of his music. Not a bad cut among the CD, I listen beginning to end often and never tire of the tunes. Instead, the vocal tracks are tweaked to suit the needs of the orchestra, which gives You're in My Heart an odd stuffiness. Even on his Great American Songbook albums, Stewart hasn't sounded stuffy, so the fault isn't his, unless he should be blamed for consenting to this project in the first place. Raining in My Heart is a song recorded by Buddy Holly on October 21, 1958 with the orchestral backing by Dick Jacobs. The music and lyrics are written by the songwriting team of Felice Bryant and Boudleaux Bryant. It was released as a single on Coral Records in 1959, peaking at 88 on the Billboard charts as the B-side of It Doesn't Matter Anymore. This recording was included on Buddy Holly's first greatest hits compilation album titled The Buddy Holly Story that was released in March 1959. Angel Heart is the seventh album by American singer-songwriter Jimmy Webb, released in April 1982 by Real West Production. In his review for AllMovie, William Ruhlmann described the album as a classic of the style called 'West Coast pop', a creamy adult contemporary sound with a rock edge but plenty of strings, the tasty guitar solos offset by the sweet harmonies. While Ruhlmann acknowledges that Webb's days as a struggling vocalist are behind him, he points to a unique problem for a Jimmy Webb
